NESSUM FOR SMART BUILDINGS
The new Lonmark Standard for high-speed wireline communication.
Nessum makes Lonworks systems smarter.
For the first time in nearly three decades, LonMark has adopted a new standard for wired communications. Nessum provides LON systems with an instant speed upgrade—from just kilobits to megabits—without needing to add or replace wiring. Now you can add more nodes, integrate more systems, and make your smart city and smart building applications…smarter.

Learn How to Build Faster Lon Networks with Nessum
Capable of achieving PHY speeds up to 240Mbps, Nessum provides all the bandwidth you need for modern retrofit applications. It supports any type of wiring (twisted-pair, coax, power lines, etc.), so you can deliver powerful new capabilities without replacing a single cable.
No more time-consuming network planning or configuration. With Nessum, you simply plug in your devices. The network takes care of the rest, automatically calculating route cost and dynamically optimizing traffic. Deployments have never been easier, or faster.
Nessum brings the latest advances in centralized matrix-based source routing (CMSR) to free topology (ITU-T G.9905). You get the plug-and-play simplicity of a self-optimizing mesh network, plus the added range and robustness of multi-hop technology that enables any node to act as a repeater. Multi-hop based on CMSR can extend communication range up to 10 times, making it perfect for large smart city and smart building deployments.
With growing threats inside and outside of firewalls, cybersecurity is no longer optional. Nessum provides a built-in AES-128 encryption engine to bring security to every node and meet the cybersecurity demands of modern industrial IoT applications.
Developed by Gesytec, the Easylon Protocol Stack (EPOS) makes it easy to integrate new Nessum systems into LonWorks control networks. EPOS is a full-featured LON protocol stack based on ISO/IEC14908, running on a 32-bit microcontroller with internal FLASH and RAM memory. EPOS comes with a XIF generator, building a C frame code from your XIF file.
Our line of BlueChip Evaluation Kits includes everything you need to evaluate and design Nessum into your IIoT application.
